An August Moment
My first August wedding was around 10 hours, a beautiful wedding at a venue by the Willamette River called the Willamalane Adult Activity Center. It was a beautiful but hot summer day. My husband acted as my second shooter for the getting ready portion (when our son was spending time with his grandma), so he was able to post up with the groom and groomsmen while I photographed the bridal party.
To me, Sean & Kiwani’s wedding was proof that you can have a stunning wedding without breaking the bank. The venue was lovely, everyone was happy, the decorations were beautiful, and of course the bride was absolutely gorgeous.
The joy and love these two had for each other, their family and friends was evident in every moment, and I felt so honored to be such an integral part of capturing these memories.
Wedding photography is truly an intensive undertaking, wherein you must be capable of all different types of photography; product, groups, family, portrait, event, and more. It can be overwhelming, but so fulfilling if it is something you love. And I love it!
I wasn’t sure if I was going to pursue wedding photography when I first started my photography business, but I’ve found myself so excited for my next wedding, my next booking, telling the next epic love story.
Thank you to Sean and Kiwani for letting me be part of such an amazing, love-filled day!
